The Highland Bulldogs had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let Greenville onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Highland's winning goal came courtesy of Payton Frey.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highland will take on Carlinville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenville, they will head out on the road to challenge Breese Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
