Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Calvary Academy). They enjoyed a cozy 64-49 win over the Carlisle Indians on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Calvary Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Carlisle, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Calvary Academy has already played their next game, a 47-42 victory against New Diana on the 4th. As for Carlisle, they will challenge Longview Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Carlisle's defense better be ready for this one: Longview Christian has averaged an impressive 50.9 points per game this season.
