Soccer Recap: Smoky Mountain Takes a Loss

Smoky Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pisgah Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pisgah this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Smoky Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Pisgah, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smoky Mountain will take on East Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pisgah, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Henderson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Henderson will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Pisgah surely won't give up without a fight.
