Soccer Game Preview: Manning vs. Georgetown

Manning is 0-3 against Georgetown since March of 2020 but things could change on Monday. The Monarchs will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Manning played against Atlantic Collegiate Academy on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Georgetown is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game on Friday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Timberland.

Georgetown's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Manning, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Manning might still be hurting after the 8-1 defeat they got from Georgetown in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Monarchs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
