Basketball Recap: Hyde Park Comes Up Short

Hyde Park lost to Bishop Dunne back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Panthers and the Falcons didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 65-51. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hyde Park now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Bishop Dunne, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-15 record this season.

Hyde Park will square off against Grace Community at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.58 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bishop Dunne, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-61 loss against Brentwood Christian on the 22nd.
