Soccer Game Preview: Clint vs. Ysleta

The Clint Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Ysleta Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clint's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Clint fell victim to Riverside and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Rangers, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Ysleta also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 3-0 to Austin on Tuesday. Considering the last time the Indians couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Clint's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Ysleta, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Clint suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Ysleta in their previous meeting back in January. Can Clint avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
