Volleyball Recap: Archbold Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Archbold entered their tilt with Liberty Center on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The Blue Streaks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Archbold walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 26-24, 25-14, 7-25, 25-19.

Kennedy Hurst paced Archbold's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hurst got some help from Karly Kruse and her 32 assists. Molly Harris controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Liberty Center lost, don't look at Chloe Mohler. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and three aces. Mohler has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Archbold's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Liberty Center, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbold will host Defiance at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty Center, they will be playing at home against Tinora at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
