Ransom Everglades came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 7-2. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Varsity Opponent, too.

Ransom Everglades got a big performance out of Teddy Wagner, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Enrique MacIas, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Ransom Everglades always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .531 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Ransom Everglades pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Ransom Everglades will challenge Bloomington at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Varsity Opponent, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-1 loss against Indianapolis Kings on the 22nd.
