Basketball Recap: Glenn Has No Trouble Against Lehman

Glenn won the last time they faced Lehman and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Glenn Grizzlies' way against the Lehman Lobos as the Glenn Grizzlies made off with a 71-51 win. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Lobos are ranked 1047th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Lobos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Christian Serna, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 10 points and six boards. What's more, Serna also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Isaac Rivas was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Glenn now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Lehman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.

Glenn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-49 defeat against Liberty Hill on the 24th. As for Lehman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-31 loss against Leander on the 24th.
