It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Timberline ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top against the Eagle Mustangs by a score of 10-7. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Logan Thistle was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Aidan Messerschmitt was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

Timberline's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Eagle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Timberline will square off against rival Kuna at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Eagle is set to challenge their familiar foe Boise at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
