Hutchison entered their tilt with Pleasant View on Wednesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hutchison took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-10, 25-6.

Hutchison got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sallie Kate Hall out in front who had ten aces and seven digs. Those seven digs gave Hall a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Perry, who had ten kills, four digs, four aces, and one block.

They weren't the only good servers: Hutchison was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 28 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Hutchison's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Pleasant View, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, Hutchison will face off against St. Benedict at Auburndale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
