Softball Recap: Killingly Comes Up Short at Home Against East Lyme

Killingly unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the East Lyme Vikings by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Redmen in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Coincidentally, Killingly and East Lyme will both be playing St. Bernard the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Saints at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Redmen will host them at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
