Basketball Recap: Mansfield Wins Going Away Against Mansfield Legacy

Mansfield won the last time they faced Mansfield Legacy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mansfield Tigers were the clear victor by a 65-42 margin over the Mansfield Legacy Broncos.

The victory got Mansfield back to even at 11-11. As for Mansfield Legacy, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-14.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mansfield Tigers take on the North Crowley Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on January 14th. Mansfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully North Crowley likes a good challenge. As for Mansfield Legacy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 84-61 defeat against Crowley on the 11th.
