The Christian Community Colts will head out to challenge the Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Christian Community came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against Providence Christian Academy, falling 42-14. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Colts came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked second, while the LIONS are ranked 130th).

Meanwhile, Jacksonville Christian Academy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Southern Christian 56-6. The Thunder were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Christian Community, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
