Volleyball Recap: IDEA Health Professions Falls to Valor South Austin in First Game of Season

IDEA Health Professions unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Valor South Austin Falcons on Friday. The Centaurs have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

While IDEA Health Professions was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Valor South Austin's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-10.

Valor South Austin is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

IDEA Health Professions does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valor South Austin, they will venture away from home to face off against Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
