Softball Preview: Omaha Westside Warriors vs. Bellevue East Chieftains        
        
		
             After two games on the road, Omaha Westside is heading back home. They will welcome the Bellevue East Chieftains  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Saturday, Omaha Westside was able to grind out a solid  win over Gretna East, taking the game  8-3.
  Hannah Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jordyn Shields, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs. She also  brought in  an  RBI, marking her first of the season.
 Meanwhile, Bellevue East never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Fremont as Bellevue East made off with  an  8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Chieftains, who have now won three contests by eight  runs or more  so far this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Maddy Mitchell, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cota Barmore, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 The  win  got Omaha Westside back to even at 3-3-1. As for Bellevue East, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record  this season.
 Wednesday's   match will be a test for both team's pitchers. Omaha Westside hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of 0. However, it's not like Bellevue East struggles in that department as   they've  averaged 0. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
