Volleyball Recap: Pelham Comes Up Short

Pelham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Somersworth Toppers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pythons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-9.

Pelham's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Somersworth, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pelham is set to challenge their familiar foe Kingswood at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Somersworth will face off against rival Oyster River at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
