Basketball Recap: Wilmington Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Wilmington Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to Fayette Christian at home by a 62-44 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-36 back in November.

Wilmington Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fayette Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hillsboro Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Fayette Christian will host Hillsboro Christian Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 21, 2025, while Wilmington Christian Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24, 2025.
