Soccer Game Preview: Horizon vs. Hanks

Horizon hasn't had much luck against Hanks recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Scorpions will be playing at home against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. Horizon has given up an average of 6.4 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Horizon's offense. They came up short against Parkland on Saturday, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, Hanks' game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Bel Air by a score of 1-0. Hanks fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Bel Air since Saturday.

Hanks' loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Horizon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Horizon suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Hanks in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. Can the Scorpions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
