Baseball Recap: Pinecrest Patriots vs. Southern Lee Cavaliers

While Pinecrest's win against Southern Lee wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pinecrest Patriots narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Southern Lee Cavaliers 4-2. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers on Tuesday, too.

JC Woolard made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Woolard was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.

Woolard wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Seth Norris, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI. That hit was Norris' first of the season.
