Baseball Recap: Monache Comes Up Short

Monache suffered their biggest loss since March 20th on Thursday. They lost 8-1 to the Golden West Trailblazers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trailblazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 on Tuesday.

Monache saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Baxter, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Monache and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for Golden West, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Monache wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 5-3 win against Golden Valley on the 14th. As for Golden West, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-3 defeat against Mission Oak on the 14th.
