Basketball Recap: Prescott Comes Up Short

After soaring to 64 points the game before, Prescott was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They had to suffer through a 78-29 loss at the hands of the DeSales Irish. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Irish: they've now lost nine in a row.

Prescott's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for DeSales, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prescott and Sunnyside Christian will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for DeSales, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Riverside Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in DeSales' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 13 matches.
