Laguna Beach had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their match with ease, bagging a 45-7 win over the Chino Cowboys. The Breakers pushed the score to 45-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cowboys cut but never quite recovered from.

Jack Hurst had an outrageously good game as he threw for 260 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (five). Jack Hooper also helped with two scores in total.

Coming up, Laguna Beach will be playing in front of their home fans against Santa Monica at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Chino, they are taking a road trip to face off against Summit at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
