Softball Recap: Lauderdale County Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It was a proper cat-fight when Lauderdale County took on Huntsville on Friday. The Tigers lost 12-1 to the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 10th.

Lauderdale County's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for Huntsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9-1 record this season.

Lauderdale County is taking a road trip to challenge Bob Jones at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Huntsville, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 victory against Siegel on the 4th.
