Basketball Recap: Unalaska Comes Up Short

Unalaska lost against Lumen Christi back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Unalaska Raiders fell 35-25 to the Lumen Christi Archangels. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Lumen Christi to victory were Amara Warren and Isabel Brown. Warren posted 19 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Brown scored 14 points and four steals. Warren has been hot for a while, having posted three or more steals the last 44 times she's played.

Unalaska's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lumen Christi, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unalaska will face off against Metlakatla at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lumen Christi, they will take on Susitna Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
