Volleyball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Eisenhower lost against Grand Terrace two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Eisenhower took Grand Terrace into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 24-26, 23-25, 20-18.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9-1. As for Grand Terrace, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Eisenhower will host Kaiser at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Terrace, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Canyon on the 11th.
