Softball Recap: Boerne Takes a Loss

The matchup between Boerne and Tivy on Tuesday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Boerne Greyhounds fell just short of the Tivy Antlers by a score of 15-13. The loss was the Greyhounds' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Boerne fell to 5-1. As for Tivy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boerne will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smithson Valley at 7:00 p.m. on February 28th. As for Tivy, they will square off against Jefferson at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday.
