Roncalli entered their tilt with Carmel on Wednesday with 37 consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 38. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Greyhounds. The Royals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Greyhounds, too.

Roncalli had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-21.

Lydia Stahley paced Roncalli's offense, picking up 22 kills. Stahley got some help from Norah Bell and her 45 assists. Reagan Turk controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Roncalli's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Roncalli will host Columbus North at 7:30 p.m. on the 28th. As for Carmel, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Hamilton Heights on the 21st.
