Softball Game Preview: Ogden Tigers vs. Layton Lancers

The Ogden Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Layton Lancers at 3:30 p.m. Ogden has given up an average of 11.1 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Ogden and Morgan had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers came up short against the Trojans on Friday, falling 25-12.

Meanwhile, Layton came up short against Copper Hills on Saturday and fell 10-6.

Serenity Overton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Ogden's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Layton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
