Baseball Recap: Frankfort Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Frankfort can now relate to. They lost 9-3 to the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles on Monday.

Chino Valdes-Mejia was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Frankfort's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Guerin Catholic, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-3-1.

As of now, neither Frankfort nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
