Basketball Recap: Camden Military Takes a Loss

Camden Military was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Trinity Collegiate Titans and fell 80-29. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Titans are ranked 98th).

Trinity Collegiate got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Davaris Lambert out in front who went 5 for 8 en route to 16 points. The dominant performance gave Lambert a new career-high in points. Jonathan Charles was another key player, going 7 of 11 on his way to 18 points.

Camden Military's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Trinity Collegiate, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-10.

Camden Military has already played their next match (against Wilson Hall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Trinity Collegiate didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-49 victory against Camden on the 4th.
