Basketball Game Preview: Tuscaloosa County Wildcats vs. Helena Huskies

The Tuscaloosa County Wildcats will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Helena Huskies on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tuscaloosa County's tournament run continued when they took on Paul W. Bryant on Saturday. Tuscaloosa County fell 62-52 to Paul W. Bryant. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Stampede: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, in Saturday's Canine Competition, Helena had to take the L. They fell just short of Opelika by a score of 47-45 on Saturday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Tuscaloosa County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
