Kouts had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They took down the North White Vikings 43-24. For the Mustangs & Fillies , this counts as revenge for the 55-45 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.

Kouts found their leader in sophomore Bella Birky, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 19 points and five boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Birky has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Tikalsky, who posted six points and five rebounds.

Kouts smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Despite the loss, North White still got an impressive performance from Autumn Reif, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 45.8% of North White's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

Kouts is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for North White, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Kouts didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-29 loss against Rochester on the 3rd. As for North White, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 30-23 win against Clinton Prairie on the 3rd.
