Amador hasn't had much luck against Argonaut recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Buffaloes will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Amador 3.9, Argonaut 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Amador hadn't beaten El Dorado on the road since April 11, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Buffaloes were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Cougars. The Buffaloes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.
Jessica Mittelstadt spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Faith DelReal, who scored four runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reilly Peckinpaugh, who scored four runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Argonaut earned a 9-4 win over Rosemont on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.
Hailey Dewald was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. That run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Bailey Baker was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Bri Bowers was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
Amador has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Argonaut, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
