Softball Preview: Amador Buffaloes vs. Argonaut Mustangs

Amador hasn't had much luck against Argonaut recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Buffaloes will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Amador 3.9, Argonaut 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Amador hadn't beaten El Dorado on the road since April 11, 2015 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Buffaloes were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Cougars. The Buffaloes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.

Jessica Mittelstadt spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.
