Basketball Recap: Raymond Central Takes a Loss

Raymond Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 51-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Syracuse Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 52-36 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Raymond Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Syracuse, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Raymond Central will be home for the holidays to greet Malcolm at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Syracuse, they will venture away from home to challenge Nebraska City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse is facing Nebraska City at the right time seeing as Nebraska City is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
