Soccer Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

Lafayette was the 4-0 winner over Ascension Episcopal when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Lafayette Lions fell just short of Ascension Episcopal by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-6. As for Ascension Episcopal, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-2 record this season.

Lafayette will welcome Teurlings Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ascension Episcopal, they will head out on the road to take on Vermilion Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
