Oxford Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Whitney Wildcats by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 21-25, 25-23, 25-16.

Oxford Academy pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Whitney, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Coming up, Oxford Academy will be playing at home against Artesia at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitney, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against El Modena on the 19th.
