It was a good run, but Pinnacle Classical Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Community Christian Academy Warriors. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 11-7 to the Warriors when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Pinnacle Classical Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake McNeily, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Caleb Yates also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Pinnacle Classical Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Community Christian Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Pinnacle Classical Academy has already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Bessemer City on the 3rd. As for Community Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-3 win against Mountain View Christian Academy on the 1st.
