Wright not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since December 12, 2025 (when they won 70-22). They breezed past the Morris Jeff Pelicans to the tune of 67-31. Given Wright's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Morris Jeff is ranked 346th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wright's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-14. As for Morris Jeff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-18.
