Basketball Recap: Franklin Road Christian Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Franklin Road Christian came tearing into Thursday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 42-32 win over the Franklin Christian Academy Falcons. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 97-88 win back in January.

Franklin Road Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gracie Tidwell, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Tidwell has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Dugger, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds.
