Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenfield). They were the clear victors by a 57-34 margin over the Fulton County Pilots on Friday. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pilots, too.

Greenfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Easton Sullivan, who rushed for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 199 yards and three TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. A healthy portion of Sullivan's aerial production (102 yards to be exact) went to Westin Porter.

Fulton County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Preston Smith, who threw for 205 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards and one score. Davarius Freeman was another key player, rushing for 91 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Greenfield picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Fulton County, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenfield will venture away from home to face off against West Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
