Football Game Preview: Jesuit Blue Jays vs. Brother Martin Crusaders

Jesuit is 2-8 against Brother Martin since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Blue Jays will welcome the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated after four games, but that won't be the case come Friday.

Jesuit is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Bonnabel to the tune of 52-0 on Friday. Given the Blue Jays' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Bruins are ranked 150th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Brother Martin earned a 36-28 victory over New Hope on Friday.

Brother Martin's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-0.

Jesuit was able to grind out a solid win over Brother Martin when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 17-5. Do the Blue Jays have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Crusaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
