North Crowley has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will head out to challenge the Boswell Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, North Crowley didn't have quite enough to beat Weatherford and fell 3-2.
North Crowley took Weatherford into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 25-16, 23-25, 15-12.
North Crowley's loss came about despite a quality game from Aniyah Kinney, who had 12 digs, two kills, and two kills. Kinney is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Boswell waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Broncos.

North Crowley's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Boswell, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11.
