Volleyball Recap: Lytle Comes Up Short

Lytle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians/Squaws this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-17, 25-16.

Lytle's defeat dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Jourdanton, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lytle will challenge rival Dilley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jourdanton is set to face off against their familiar foe Hondo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
