Baseball Game Preview: Chadwick Dolphins vs. Flintridge Prep Wolves

Chadwick is 1-9 against Flintridge Prep since March of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Dolphins will look to defend their home field against the Wolves at 3:30 p.m.

Chadwick is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Flintridge Prep, falling 15-7.

For Flintridge Prep's part, Will Grable was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs Grable has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Casey Augenstein, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Flintridge Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Flintridge Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-13 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Chadwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
