The Owego Free Academy River Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Seton Catholic Central Saints at 7:15 p.m. Owego Free Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
Last Friday, Owego Free Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Oneonta, taking the game 54-47.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Seton Catholic Central had to settle for a 52-50 loss against Waverly on Saturday.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Allan Eagles, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnny Hopf, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Owego Free Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Seton Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Owego Free Academy came up short against Seton Catholic Central in their previous meeting back in February, falling 56-51. Can Owego Free Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
