Baseball Recap: Wapahani Extends Winning Streak to Five

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wapahani walked away with it. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Oak Hill Golden Eagles a 3-0 shutout on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Wapahani saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Luce, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Wapahani hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That's the most strikeouts they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Wapahani's win bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Oak Hill, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 20-10 record.

Wapahani has already played their next matchup, a 9-2 defeat against Boone Grove on the 14th. Oak Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
