Football Game Preview: El Camino Real Royals vs. Dorsey Dons + Official Tickets

The El Camino Real Royals will square off against the Dorsey Dons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Dorsey will be up against a hot El Camino Real team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Royals never let Taft get on the board and left with a 28-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Royals, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Takia Campbell had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 179 yards and three scores while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Those 179 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Raul Berdon helped out on the ground, rushing for 86 yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: El Camino Real was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 362 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

El Camino Real didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut AJ Gupta.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dorsey). They blew past Fremont, posting a 40-6 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Dons with their most commanding win of the season.

El Camino Real's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Dorsey, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
