Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hebbronville walked away with it. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Progreso Red Ants an 11-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Longhorns have won 11 matches by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Chase Moore, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Keyan Ramirez, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Hebbronville and bumps their season record up to 20-10-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Progreso, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-12.

As of now, neither Hebbronville nor the Red Ants have any future games scheduled.
