Softball Recap: Crimson Cliffs Triumphs

Crimson Cliffs won the last time they faced Snow Canyon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 9-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Jordyn Cluff was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits. Cluff was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Maylee Dunkley was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Ashlyn Wilding was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Crimson Cliffs' win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Snow Canyon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Crimson Cliffs will have a chance to go back-to-back against Snow Canyon: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
